Google clearly ahead on reputation
Google is the most reputable organisation in Ireland for the third year in a row in the annual RepTrak study by Corporate Reputations and the Reputation Institute. Kerry Group, Apple, Cadbury and Volkswagen made up the top five list.
Eason was in sixth place, with Kellogg, Boots, M&S and Intel making up the top ten. Kerry Group was the top Irish brand, followed by Eason, Dairygold, Arnotts, Bord na Mona, Smyths, The Irish Times. Superquinn, An Post and Musgrave.
Over three-quarters of the firms measured saw their reputation decrease over the last year. Google was the only firm to score over 80 points out of a possible 100. John Player was ranked bottom, below Ryanair, Bank of Ireland, AIB and Quinn.
